Update: New Artwork for the Teenage Waiting Area

Following a consultation with young adults for the new Teenage Waiting Area in the Emergency Department, an initial selection of artwork has been chosen and was created by the artist Beverley Coraldean.  The artwork is a hybrid of the preferred 'styles' collected through patient surveys, and hopefully meets the preferences of young people in this area of the hospital.  You can see a sample of some of the proposed artwork in the images above and below.  As you can see, they initially follow a nautical theme.

The colours were chosen carefully, after engaging with what would be the best feel for a young adult hospital environment and also through feedback sampling from young patients in the form of surveys asking for their preferences over a variety of different artistic styles.  From this presentation, the proposed colours will be:
