A new exhibition by artist and therapist Hannah Hardy has just opened and will run until the end of April at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The exhibition is entitled ‘Rainbow Bridge’ and can be found along the West Atrium.
This new exhibition follows the previously popular smaller scale work shown by the artist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Hannah Hardy was inspired to work towards a bigger exhibition this time round after receiving a great deal of warm and popular feedback following her first showing last year. She was particularly pleased to hear from patients and staff whose spirits were lifted, and felt a sense of healing when encountering the art work on the hospital corridors. This is something that Hannah is passionate about both as an artist and holistic therapist. When speaking of the new exhibition, Hannah wrote warmly: ‘I hope this new exhibition will create positive feelings for passers-by to connect with, regardless of the journey they are on.’
‘Rainbow Bridge’ features colourful mixed media paintings with subjects ranging from a pair of healing hands and children playing, to horses and birds and close-up details from Hannah Hardy’s artwork for the GoGo Hare sculpture trail which will run in Norwich this summer to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the children’s charity ‘Break’.
