The Norwich based photographer Chris Ridley will be visiting the NNUH on Thursday 2nd November to take photographs of staff in departments across the NNUH in their places of work. The idea is to have more creative photographs of members of staff, going about their working day. Chris was chosen with this in mind as he has worked creatively as a free-lance photographer and has established himself with a variety of names over the years. His work has appeared with the Discovery Channel, the BBC, The Telegraph, The Times, The Mirror, The Independent, Disney and many more. His work has been used extensively on magazine covers, as well as books.
Chris initially worked in online marketing and advertising for several years, and his interest in photography grew through his travels and experiencing a high variety of different cultures across the world. He describes himself as compelely self-taught, through good old-fashioned reading, practice and experimentation for 'hours on end.'
