Sarah Bays will be exhibiting her art work on Level 3 of the Main Hospital Street throughout May, June and July. Sarah is a local artist, living in Norwich, and takes inspiration from her surroundings - the coastline, nature and animals. Walking her dog in the early mornings, catching a pattern, image, or play of light is also an inspiration to the work she produces. Sometimes a holiday into newer areas can also be a feature of her work.
Recently Sarah has been drawn to what she calls the ‘immediacy of monoprinting’. She remarks that she finds herself ‘working in a slightly more abstract way, taking a remembered landscape as a starting point and adapting the image as I go along.’
