New Exhibition By Artist Leanda Jaine

Norwich: A Fine City

Prints by

Leanda Jaine

Norwich: A Fine City

About the artist:  Leanda is an illustrator conscious of process, often preferring to use print-making techniques to create and experiment with images.  As an artist, she likes to explore the nature of memory, both personal and collective. This ongoing theme has figured frequently in her work as well as the intriguing notions of psycho-geography and mapping.

About the exhibition: ‘Norwich a Fine City‘ is a progression of Leanda's recent series called ‘The A to Z of Norwich’. Leanda wanted to work this time on a larger scale and explore the idea of using the beautiful and architecturally diverse buildings, the independent traders and iconic landmarks which Norwich offers to build a developed group of artworks. Her walks around Norwich and the drawings she made of these buildings developed into the street prints of Norwich you can now see being exhibited here at NNUH.
