Some of our Community Projects involve placing an artist in residence either within the Hospital or a Community Group. On these occasions artists work directly with patients, school children, students, clients from partnering organisations and the general public which enables a wide cross section of the community to take part and contribute to the making of artworks for the Hospital.
Artists in residency projects take place as larger projects such as Hospital Trust Open Days, Awareness Days, larger scale commissions for different departments and larger scale community projects.
Artist in residency based projects are very exciting to work on as the outcomes are always imaginative and fun.
